Get Involved with WDC2014

Time has flown by since October! I can't believe that 2014 is already upon us.

As I mentioned so long ago there are a number of ways you can get involved with WDC2014 and it would be great to get as many people involved as possible.

I will be clear and say that if you want to help out the most I can give in return is a ticket to WDC2014 and my up most thanks and gratitude. You will also be credited on the site and during the day.

Website Design & Theme

My web design skills aren't amazing and I have been lucky enough to work with others (including Rachel Shillcock) over the last couple of years to put together a couple of great sites with similar themes.

The WDC set of sites (2011, 2012, 2013) runs on a WordPress Network and it really is as simple as developing a theme for each year.

Volunteering on the day

This is a massive part of the event and I need at least 5 people to help out on the day with registration, giving directions to people and also keeping an eye on the front door.

Meet ups

The great thing about conferences is the chance to catch up with people you only see at other conferences and events.

What's also great is the chance to meet new people!

We have had some unofficial meets ups in the past but I'm looking for people to organise them for the night before the event.
